–       Coconut Grove, Miami Sail Week Youth Regatta – March 16-17

This is an opportunity to sail with some of the best in the US and learn to sail in big fleets.

Costs will be determined based on the number of sailors.

Chris Tully – RNSYS

RNSYS Orange Bowl Regatta and Training Group.

About: Orange Bowl is a premier event held every year at the Coral Reef Yacht Club in Miami. This is a very well-attended regatta with dozens to hundreds of sailors attending depending on the class of boat. This is an excellent opportunity for sailors to gain experience sailing against some of the top sailors in North America and in larger fleets. Registration for Orange Bowl Opens on September 11. Orange Bowl Event Website.

Where: Coral Reef Yacht Club 

When: December 26-30, 2023.

Who: Optimist

Coaching: RNSYS is pleased to announce Martin Borrallo, former USODA international coach and class development officer, who is joining our team with over a decade of experience coaching at top-level Opti events. Martin will be a great asset to our team for this event.

Registration Fee: $600 (Budgeted post-event invoice: $300, there is an upfront registration fee for all RNSYS events followed by an invoice following the event to cover any additional regatta expenses – this is to keep the cost to the actual cost of the event for participants)

Registration Minimum: 6

Pre-Orange Bowl Training: Train with the RNSYS team from December 19-23 in Coconut Grove (exact location TBD) in preparation for this event. The cost for the training block will be $750/person. The registration minimum for the pre-Orange Bowl Training is 5 Optis.
