The International Teams Committee (ITC) of the Canadian Optimist Dinghy Association (CODA) is looking to fill coaching positions for the Canadian International Teams participating in 2023 IODA events.
2023 Optimist South American Championship – April 15 to 22nd – Paracas, Peru
2023 Optimist World Championship – June 11th to 21st – Costa Brava, Spain
2023 Optimist North American Championship – July 2nd-9th – English Harbour, Antigua
2023 Optimist European Championship – July 15th to 22nd – Thessaloniki, Greece
All interested coaches must:
1) submit to [email protected]
a. letter of intent
b. a recent CV with references
c. a copy of their “The Locker” and/or Sail Canada profile
Deadline for application – Dec. 31, 2022.
Previous high level or international coaching experience will be considered an asset.
All selected applicants shall have a background check prior to the event.
Coaches will be required to sign the CODA and Sail Canada codes of conduct and be in good standing with Sail Canada.
Coaches will be required to obtain medical treatment and repatriation insurance (including cover for COVID-19) covering the entire period of the stay in the host country.
Coaches will be selected by the ITC and notified in the new year (TBD).

Le Comité des équipes internationales (CTI) de l’Association canadienne de voile Optimist (ACVO) cherche à pourvoir des postes d’entraîneurs pour les équipes internationales canadiennes participant aux événements IODA en 2022.

Tous les entraineuses/entraineurs intéressés doivent :

c. une copie de leur profil “Le Casier” et/ou Voile Canada
Date limite de candidature – 31 décembre 2022.
Toute expérience d’encadrement de haut niveau ou international sera considérée comme un atout. Tous les candidats sélectionnés devront subir une vérification des antécédents avant l’événement. Les entraineuses/entraineurs devront signer les codes de conduite CODA et Voile Canada et être en règle avec Voile Canada.
Les entraineuses/entraineurs devront souscrire une assurance soins médicaux et rapatriement (y compris une couverture pour COVID-19) couvrant toute la période du séjour dans le pays d’accueil.
Les entraineuses/entraineurs seront sélectionnés par le CÉI et notifiés en début 2023 (date à déterminer).
