From June 3 to 5, 2022, the Hudson Yacht Club will host The Lemon Clinic, a training activity for coaches and athletes of the Optimist class organized by CODA (Canadian Optimist Dinghy Association) in collaboration with the Hudson Yacht Club.
Friday, will be a day dedicated to the development of coaches and instructors. On Saturday and Sunday, athletes will join the Clinic and will have access to quality training, regardless of their level. On Saturday evening, a meal will be organized, to allow everyone to sympathize, to meet and learn to know each other.
The Clinic will be led by two of the most renowned sailing coaches in Canada: Carmen Denis, High Performance Sailing Coach at the Club de Voile Deux-Montagnes and former coach of the Canadian Sailing Team, as well as by Tine Moberg-Parker, Director of the West Vancouver Yacht Club’s Optimist Program and Olympian. We are expecting athletes and coaches from Quebec and Eastern Ontario. Without a doubt, this is THE not-to-be-missed event to start the season on the right foot and remain Optimist!

The Lemon Clinic will bring together the community of Optimist sailing from Quebec and Eastern Ontario. We are expecting more than 50 sailors and their parents, 20 coaches and many volunteers in the enchanting and welcoming setting of the Hudson Yacht Club. This is a unique showcase to promote your products at the start of the season. We are looking for financial sponsorships, as well as clothing, sailing equipment or food for young people and adults. Clothing and equipment will be distributed by lottery.
