The executive committee of CODA is pleased to announce that the proposed change to the bylaw regarding selection of sailors to teams attending IODA World and Continental Championships has been approved by the membership.
The deadline to vote was midnight (EDT) on Friday June 28, 2019. At this time there were 139 members in good standing. CODA by-laws require at least 20% of the membership must vote and 2/3 must vote in favour for a bylaw change to be approved.
This requirement was met as 56 votes were received with 51 voting YES and 5 voting NO.
The proposed bylaw change was approved and will become effective immediately.
